Management of a small business is somewhat different to large scale enterprises as there is much more flexibility between business functions especially if the business is run by a sole trader.

However some basic business principles remain which small businesses should understand if they are to prosper.

The course will give an overview of these theoretical concepts as well as how they have a practical application for the small business.

Participants will be invited to review how their work situation fits into these principles.

In order for participants to get the best value from the course they will be asked to design a business improvement project that they can implement which will address on of these principles.

One month after the course there will be individual; follow up to review this challenge.
